After reaping the benefits of a top tier school system, they graduated with honors from New Trier High School.  Debra is uniquely tapped into school district information, having chaired many committees on the PTA, Glencoe Junior High Project, football team parent committees, the New Trier Centennial Committee, and has spearheaded major fundraising projects for Chicago City Day School as well as for New Trier High School.
